Grade 1
First graders did really well on their midterm. They can understand the vocabulary learned and recognize the words and pictures. We also did oral practice as a part of midterm. Most of the students could say they vocabulary that they have learned properly. Grade 2 Second graders did well on their midterm, too. However, as the grammar and reading content get more complex, it's a good idea that the student takes some time studying on a regular basis after school. In sum, they are making great progress as well. Grade 3 Plants and animals is the new unit we are currently working on. The children are learning about the importance of plants and animals to the world as a whole. They are also getting chance to read some great stories on how useful both are to us as human beings. Grade 4 The fourth graders are learning about our neighbors in space. It was fun for a lot of the students to learn more about the world around us, and read interesting stories about the planets. Some even got to write about their favorite planet using some information from an educational video. Grade 5 The fifth grade is learning how to tap into their imagination in the new unit, “Telling Tales”. We are learning parts of a simple essay and how to have a good beginning, middle and end to a story. They also learned about singular and plural nouns and the rules for using them. Grade 6 The sixth grades are learning about the importance of history and the things that link us to our past. We are reading stories that give the students a better understanding of the material being taught. We also talked about using compound sentences to improve our writing. 評論已關閉。
